Mission Statement: Achieve equal status under the law, for motorcyclists, using whatever lawful means necessary.
Rationale and mission plan: Motorcyclists face discrimination in several areas: housing, employment, public accommodation, and law enforcement. Motorcyclists are working together to combat discrimination with a two prong attack:
The law:
Change Ohio's Gang Law. Amend the Ohio Public Accommodation statute to include mode of transportation and style of dress in the list of traits against which discrimination is unlawful. Maintain a vigilant watch for rights threatening legislation.
This will be accomplished thru the use of a lobbyist. Money to pay the lobbyist will be earned with the sale of t-shirts, fund raising gatherings, and donations.
2. Knowledge:
Inform motorcyclists of each other's discrimination battles, strategies, successes, and failures. Inform the members of the legislature and the public of our struggle.
To this end: channels of communication among clubs will be established, and friends & family will be informed and recruited (to inform others).
